Frank Lexa is a subject matter expert and investment professional with deep experience in multiple life science sectors. Dr. Lexa is a Vice President of Artisan Laboratories - a medical device start-up, a practicing neuroradiologist, the Medical Director for Raytel Imaging of Philadelphia, and an adjunct professor in the graduate division of the Wharton School. He has been a consultant for Boston Consulting Group, a Director of Health Care Acquisitions and Business Development for BTG International, a medical school professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and a General Partner in Philadelphia Venture Capital.
Dr. Lexa assists clients with consulting and transaction services in the biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. Support services include market and industry analysis, product development/regulatory approval processes, channel and alliance strategies, mergers and acquisitions, product positioning, and capital strategies.
Dr. Lexa earned an AB in Biology from Harvard University, an MS in Physiology and an MD from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School. He serves on the Bio/Med Investment Advisory Committee for Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
