Tilo Stahl is an international business executive with extensive technical, operational, and management experience. Prior to Gates and Company, Dr. Stahl was President of the U.S. subsidiary of Netzsch, Inc., Managing Director of Astor-Werk in Germany, and President of a subsidiary of Robert Bosch Corp. in Detroit. Before that he was with Bosch in Belgium and with Daimler-Benz in Germany. Dr. Stahl helps European companies with entry or expansion in the U.S. He leverages his combined experiences in U.S. and Europe to help companies with a range of issues, including location selection, routes to market and sale force design, organizational structure, operations and logistics, and government relations. He also helps both international and domestic companies with strategic planning, project management, alliance strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Dr. Stahl earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Missouri. He also attended the National University of Mexico during a one-year foreign study program. Dr. Stahl is bilingual in English and German.
