Larry Waddell is a highly creative, strategic thinker with private equity, CEO, and operations experience. Prior to Gates and Company, Mr. Waddell was COO of 5K Logistics, a $10 million global freight forwarding and logistics company; CEO of Pret-Mose I, LLC where he structured and executed the leveraged buyout of the largest RV dealership in New Jersey; Managing Director of SJF Ventures where he was responsible for deal assessment and term sheet negotiations in businesses ranging from plastics to renewable energy; and an Analyst at Accenture. Mr. Waddell leverages his operational and private equity experiences to help technology-driven businesses better access their core competencies and growth objectives against market dynamics and macro trends to chart winning strategic plans. He also provides assistance in developing funding materials and capital strategies matched to a variety of funding sources. Mr. Waddell earned a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University; an MA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh; and an MBA from the Wharton School.
