Practice Leader

Gates and Company's Electronic Technology practice is headed by David Gates. Mr. Gates earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa, a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, and an MBA from the Wharton School. Before forming Gates and Company he was Executive Vice President at a middle-market electronics technology firm that developed and manufactured magnetic and electromagnetic products for medical devices, particle accelerators, and motor/generator assemblies; he acquired, grew, and sold an early-stage software technology company; and spent just over eight years with DuPont, primarily in their electronics and connector division, and also spent time in color proofing, clinical analyzers, and diagnostic imaging. Mr. Gates published industry-related articles, including Connector Modeling - Using SPICE to Predict Performance (interConnection Technology(tm)) and Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Inductance and Capacitance Matrices (IEEE Conference Proceedings).
